My first Popovy, a blank Bluejay now named Vasilika, arrived and I am rather smitten with her. The sculpt is very detailed and beautiful, joints wonderfully tight and to my surprise she can share all my Inamorata wigs!

Her shoes had an issue with paint quality, but the Popovy Sister's have great communications and perfect service so I am getting a replacement pair soon. I think a company's value can be measurement in how they deal with their reclamation issues and Popovy is top notch!

Now I want more wigs, more shoes and the Little Owl sculpt doll. Just have to get my Sybarite Concubine sold first.

I think it's possible to balance her carefully for a moment in a photo shoot but I would not dislpay her like that. Maybe in a glass case leaving to wall it might work safely, but I'd recommend a padded floor just in case she were to fall. Resin breaks easy.

i don't leave any of my dolls standing for display. i just meant for a photoshoot. i was wondering if some of the shoes make it possible for the dolls with ballet feet to stand at all.

even my best posers are prone to doing faceplants unexpectedly during a shoot, so i try to never have them standing out of arms reach unless they are firmly propped.

Have you tried using fishing line to hang the dolls from for a photoshoot? I do it all the time and then photoshop the line out of the pics. It's stable, safe and makes pretty wild posing possible. All you need is a frame to hand the dolls from, but it's easy to make a light box with some plastic pipes and diffusion paper. Smile

i have for outdoor shots when i have branches or something to string it from, and yeah it makes for some really fun shots! i'm still working on my indoor set up - which has to go up and down really quickly and pack away flat

It's possible to balance it yes. This resin is strong, our mannequins was falling on the floor many times, and they are fine. However we do not recommend to drop them haha Smile
