My Cherry arrived

I didn't expect to get a doll this quickly. But when Igor told me that he had a blank Cherry available now, I just had to jump at the chance and ordered one right away. She got here very quickly.

I have to say that I'm quite overwhelmed at how lovely these dolls are. I look forward to making her a wig and finding a faceup artist to paint her.

Oh wow~! Congrats, Els! How fortunate that you were able to get a Cherry so quickly! I think blank dolls are so exciting... all of the possibilities, just waiting for that "spark" of life~! In the meantime, it's always amazing to handle the blank dolls, and marvel at their engineering and posability. Can't wait to see her debut.

Thank you all for the wonderful comments. Even blank, I feel like Popovy Dolls ooze personality. I just love looking at her face. The Cherry in my avatar is the look I would like for my girl. It looks like I've found my faceup artist but we still need to work out the details. I already have a name in mind but I want to wait and see if it really fits her after she has her faceup.

The poor girl does need some clothing and wigs asap. I plan to give wig making a shot. Let's hope I don't screw it up XD
As for clothes, that will be trickier 'cause I can't sew at all. I had hoped that she'd fit into some loose-fitting Barbie clothes but this isn't the case. Where do you all find clothes for your girls?

I did have to get used to her feet a bit. I've never had a doll who can't put her feet flat on the ground. Still, I think Popovy Dolls are amazing. Love the way they pose. I think I'll start saving to buy her a friend next year. In the meantime, she seems to be getting along with my EDs.

Congrats! And thank you for the comparison pic with ED, I didn't realize they were so small compared to the Popovy, I thought they'd be about the same size. But I guess they can still share some fashions due to the elongated and slim build they have. I guess PD are about the same size as my Inamorata then. Interesting.
