Tease, Tease, Tease......

Hello you wonderful Popovy collectors.  Just a small note to let you know that my order arrived today and I will forward some photos as I can muster them....Very busy right now but first, here is my Magpie, appearing for first time on the Forum........

Just look at the beauty of this face.  This is a really, really tiny face but it still looks beautiful even in this large magnification....How could you not love this face?  Thank you Lena and Katya for your extraordinary work.....

Yes,  I agree, what extraordinary work.  Your Magpie is delightful---the eyes, the mouth...just gorgeous. 

I must admit the first thing I did when I recieved my BlueJay was to give her a good looking over under magnification, and, even for a bothersome perfectionist like me, she passed the test with flying colours!

She's gorgeous! I didn't know that she has white eyelashes.

Dee Dee....Yes, I am a perfectionist, too, at least where my dolls are concerned.  Perfection is seldom found in this world but these dolls more than live up to the ideal of perfection and beauty.  The Sisters are true artists and we are lucky that they have chose dolls as their medium.  Every stroke seems to be lovingly applied, layer upon layer, just like in the Old Master Paintings, for a masterful final piece of art.   I just LOVE, LOVE my Popovy dolls.  I will treasure them forever.  Just opening their hand-made boxes and looking at their marvelous beauty fills me with wonder and awe and makes me tremendously happy....

masquerade.....What a surprise for me too, the white strokes for the lashes and the eyebrows, but I think they work exceptionally and I love them for this Magpie.

BelleNolia.....Thank you so much....the lips, the eyes, the eyebrows, everything about this doll just shines.....

You are absolutely right; everything about these dolls is masterful, with immaculate attention to the finest details.  That's what I love about them.  The face on your doll is soft and graceful; the liquid blue tones in her eyes complement the soft reds and browns in her eye-makeup and eyebrows. A true beauty.

Thank you skulptress9,   I expected something wonderful but even I couldn't imagine how truly magnificent these dolls are.  It is a shame to call them dolls, really, as they are really works of art...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you get your doll soon, too!  I can't wait to see a picture.....

Oh....my....God....not one, not two, not three, but FOUR Popovy Dolls!!  And Blue Jay TWINS!!   My mind is officially blown!  Are you hiding any more?

Hello merrijane, and thank you....  No, no more dolls.  I don't have much more up my sleeve  as I bought mainly shoes and lingerie along with the dolls.  Those of you that want to see everything can do so on the Popovy Sis Facebook.  Mine are the dolls with the heels and the ballet wigs.   I may sneak in a few surprises, though.     I did not get any clothing  this time but I will when I get another chance.  For right now, I am very happy to  have my beauties home with me.
