Mocha and Ivory - Box Opening

First of all - I'm sorry I kept this secret so long! I found it easier to not say anything as that way it stayed kind of like "a dream" and didn't feel real - so the wait was not so bad. I finally cracked and told a Popovy friend privately last week because I couldn't bear the suspense anymore! I never thought I would be able to get a painted girl from the Sisters, (let alone two!) and yet here they are.

Names to be confirmed! I used to name all my dolls but often I find now the name the original artists gives them suits so well.

*Sorry about the weird "barbie style" censorship of Peewit's pelvic area. I've had my flickr shut down too many times by female genitalia hating prude's. The girls are of course both anatomically correct, and I have no issues with my dolls being nude, etc. Some flickr people do :-(

I did mention your dolls to a doll artist recently, who mentioned that she preferred dolls that were not sculpted so graphically. That sentiment seems to be expressed more by people and artists who deal primarily with child dolls. Your girls just seem to prefer to be au natural, Sisters.

Oh a HUGE congratulations Mayple!! I don't know how you managed to contain yourself for so long lol!! Looking forward to seeing some more of these beauties, and wondering what gorgeous confections you will make for them!!
